Meet Dr. Bryan Rolfes - Facial Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Rolfes graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College where he majored in Classical Studies of ancient Greece and Rome, but after seeing one of his mentors battle a disfiguring cancer he decided to pursue a career in medicine. After that he spent over a decade in surgical training to build the most extensive expertise in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery possible. His education included 4 years at the Chicago Medical School, a residency in Head and Neck Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic, and an additional fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at Boston University under the world renowned surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel. He also spent a year as a senior fellow the Medical Devices Center at the University of Minnesota where he worked with industry partners like Medtronic and Boston Scientific to develop cutting edge medical innovations. Through his training and in his practice, Dr. Rolfes has focused on using technology to revolutionize surgical procedures. He is experienced in minimally invasive, endoscopic, and transgender facial feminization surgery (FFS), and he has 5 issued and many pending US and international patents for his novel developments.
A Saint Paul native and graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall, Dr. Rolfes and his wife Marisela enjoy living in the Twin Cities. In his free time he enjoys swimming and sailing with his family and skiing or running with his dogs.
